D I S C R I P T I O N O F W O R K: HVAC: (Labor & Material Bid) R&R 2, 91 gal water heaters, expansion tank, 60K BTU forced air furnace, cap old lines, 2, exhaust fans. Plumbing: (Labor & Material Bid) rough in plumbing for kitchen, laundry, and repair floor drain. Concrete: (Labor & Material Bid) epoxy concrete walkways/landings, and install ADA wheelchair ramp. Asphalt: (Labor & Material Bid) Create 1 ADA parallel van parking stall, in lot repair holes, crack-fill, sealcoat, and stripe. Drywall/Painting: (Labor & Material Bid) hang, tape, mud, texture drywall and paint throughout building. CCTV/Access Control: Install additional CCTV cameras and access control points. Glazing: (Labor & Material Bid) R&R standard safety glass w/bullet resistant glazing. Flooring: R&R carpeting and repair tile. Description is an overview not all inclusive. P R E F O R M A N C E B O N D A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Colorado House negotiable U.S. Government bonds (as par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each RFP.

W A G E S, E Q U A L E M P L O Y M E N T, S A M . G O V Attention is called to the fact this project is funded by: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Davis-Bacon wages will apply. Minority owned, women owned, disabled owned businesses and businesses with disabled employees are encouraged to respond to this RFP. Contractors must ensure employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. In the event that the bidder anticipates hiring employees to work on this job, the bidder should contact the local manpower office for qualified candidates (Section 3). Prior to the awarding of the Contract, the Colorado House and Resource Center may defer its decision for a period not to exceed (30) days from the date of the opening of the RFP for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. All bidders required to register with www.SAM.gov system.
